This listing is for a complete set of six (6) Gotoh SG05 model "Crownhead" tuning keys from a 1981 Prepro Charvel. You mainly see these in 1981. Yes, the screw tab is in the "down" position. As is typical with the bad gold plating technology of the era, these have oxidized. The nickel underneath is exposed in spots and have a slightly green patina in a few places. No branding on the rear. No removed branding on the rear. They still turn nicely. Includes mounting screws.
A quick note: Gotoh castings vary a tad. It doesn't even seem to be a year thing, more like the molds were not consistent. So there is a slight chance you might have to ream the back side open a tad on your neck to fit. While the odds are really low, I am pointing it out in the event someone buys these and they don't just drop right in. Those of us with a lot of Charvel experience are aware the late 70's and very early 80's keys had a large tolerance in that regard. Neck shown is NOT included. Just displaying the keys.
