1983 Squier JV Series Stratocaster.
Here’s a special one. What a beautiful survivor! 1983 JV Series Fender Squier HH Stratocaster.
Condition is Used but really great! There are a couple significant dings and indentations along the rims but the front/back of the body and neck are VERY clean. Look closely at my pics. Ask for more if you like.
This is a really great player. I’m starting to understand why this particular run of Squiers is so coveted. It plays, feels, and sounds as good or better than a lot of my best Japanese Fenders (and some of my USA strats).
It has an HH pickup configuration and matching candy apple head which makes this part of the Contempory series. (Even more rare in this condition).
Quality ‘Fender Japan’ tuners and heavier bridge block. Hardware is in good shape with some corrosion on the bridge and jack plate. ‘JV’ neck plate is in great condition with scratches consistent with a 36 year old rocker.
Great straight neck And set up for low action. Frets show some wear but it’s fast and playable without buzz.
No case or trem bar.
I’ll entertain offers but I’m fairly firm. I would also consider reverb trades for other quality gear.
