  • Condition: The pieces are lightly used and have overall light age crazing (as all English china of this period does). There aren't any stains from use. Three or four pieces have some light variation stains of the Ivory color (see photo 10), but nothing serious. Please look my photos over carefully, I've taken close-ups of these areas. There aren't any chips or cracks, but the tip of the spout appears to have been slightly re-done - if so, by an expert glass repairman (see photo 9)?

    I'm Selling 45-Pieces of Antique
    Ridgways Old Ivory Bedford Ware
    English China.
    Description:
    As always, the pieces vary slightly in the Ivory color.  The raised vertical panels that run all the way around the lower area of the serving pieces and the border areas of the regular pieces are nicely defined - the handles and finals on the serving pieces are very elegant!
    Note:
    Note the Reg. No. (shown in photo 12).  According to my book on marks, the Reg No 696565 indicates that the pattern was manufactured in 1923.  This makes the china 93 years old.  Any piece of this pattern (without damage and extreme use would be extremely difficult to find).  The serving pieces would be Rare!
    If you have a partial set that was left to you by Grand Mother or Great Grand Mother, now is the time to complete it.  When I checked,  the replacement services and eBay didn't have any pieces for sale!
