Antique Blue Transferware Serving Platter England Oriental Pattern 13.5 x 11

Description

For your consideration is an antique blue transferware deep serving platter.  This platter does not have a manufacturer, just the Made in England on the back.  It has beautiful slight scallop edges and the Oriental/Asian motif.  The sides each have the cherry tree, pagoda, sailing ship and a bridge on them.  This has been used and is very old.  It does have some crazing on the bottom and a couple of dark marks from the glazing cracking, however the pottery is not chipped.  It has the one on the bottom and one on the side as shown.  The back sides also have some areas that never received the thick glazing.  For the ages of this piece (from the 19th century) this piece is in great shape.   It is 13 1/2" x 11 1/4" and is 1" deep.
