Introducing the HD Capture Box (Platinum Edition) from ClearClick.
With this device, you can easily record audio and video from HDMI video sources.
The device also records from SD video sources such as VCR's, camcorders, DVD players, and so on (through AV, RCA, YpbPr), as well as from older computers that have old style VGA video output ports.
No computer is required - the device saves your videos in MP4 format onto a USB 3.0 flash drive (up to 32 GB) or USB 3.0 external hard drive (up to 2 TB). (Not included)
Or, live stream your video source using your PC or record straight on to your PC. (PC/OBS only; Mac/XSplit not supported)
The device's "HDMI Out" port allows you to pass through your video/audio signal to your TV while recording.
You can even play back recordings from the device itself after recording using the included remote control.
Schedule recordings using the easy built-in menu which displays on your TV. The device also supports microphone input for overlaying extra audio onto your video.

If you wish to make a long recording as a single file, you will need to format your USB 3.0 drive with a "NTFS" file system on your computer prior to recording with the device. If your USB 3.0 drive is formatted with a exFAT or FAT32 file system, this device will automatically split longer recordings into MP4 video files that are 4 GB each.
IMPORTANT NOTE - Please Read Before Purchasing!
Many HDMI sources are protected. (This is not any fault of our device.) An certain type of HDMI splitter is usually required to record or pass through this type of signal. For more details, please see page #8 of the device manual.
