We have been sous vide cooking for several years and have tried many bag options. To truly cook under vacuum, you were limited plastic bags. So, we designed the Sili Sous Vide. It is a great alternative to plastic bags to cook under vacuum. The patent-pending design is great for home cooking. It’s easy to use, clean and reuse. Included in Your Purchase You will receive 2 Sili Sous Vide cooking bags with valves, 1 pump, 2 clips and 1 instruction manual, in an eco-friendly package box. The bags have approximately 8” by 7.5” of food cooking area and are 10.4" wide 10.8" tall. They will fit most large pots in your kitchen. Use Guide Wash the bags well before first use. Put the food in the bag. Avoid filling past the Max level / line. Close and seal the with the slider, in the direction of the arrows. The bag is designed to seal well, so it will be a little tight when new. Use your dominant hand for the slider and hold the thick part of the bag with the other hand (just above the arrows). Close completely to vacuum seal. Elevate the valve slightly, to avoid marinade and liquid getting in to the valve, and connect the open end of the pump to the black valve and pump the air out. Keep the pump and valve snug while pumping. Use short quick motions for results. You can remove and clean / wash the valves if needed. Immerse the food in water but avoid submerging the valve, so water does accidentally seep into the bag. Sili Sous Vide is dishwasher safe. For more thorough cleaning, fill the bag with water plus a cleaning solution, close the bag and leave in the sink for a while.
