ID'd US Army BDU Woodland Camouflage Uniform CMB Special Forces Vietnam GWOT

Description

Up for sale is a BDU top from an Army officer who served from 1968 to 2002, first seeing combat as an enlisted Special Forces medic in Vietnam assigned to Camp A-412, then commissioning as an Armor branch officer and serving as a Foreign Area Officer for Sub-Saharan Africa into the early days of the GWOT. While a few insignia were stripped from this top, it is likely he wore it from early on in his career (you can still see where he wore and then removed his ARVN jump wings) to the early 90s, when he was Division G5 for the 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson. It should be an easy restoration to replace the missing General Staff collar insignia, Ranger tab, and 4th ID SSI.
