Powder-free nitrile disposable gloves provide high resistance to puncture, tearing, and abrasion, and good resistance to accidental chemical splash. Nitrile gloves are generally thinner and more tactile than vinyl and latex gloves, while maintaining strength. Powder-free, general purpose disposable gloves provide basic hand protection against non-hazardous materials and do not have a powder coating inside the glove, reducing the risk of allergic reactions and contamination.
Medical-grade disposable gloves have better tactile sensitivity than general purpose gloves and are worn to protect workers from biohazards and reduce the risk of contamination. These gloves can be worn alone or can be worn as part of a two-glove system where gloves are doubled to provide additional protection against contamination. They are designed for use in the medical industry and have an Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) rating of 2.5 or lower, which indicates that these gloves are less likely to have pinholes and imperfections that can reduce durability and performance.
