    Pair (2) of Ridgways
    BREAD & BUTTER or DESSERT PLATES
    in Blue & White with gilded trim

    Description & Condition:
    Very pretty botanical pattern in blue & white with gilded detailing.  Pretty rose pattern.  Edge of plate has slight scallop to it.  Very Good Used Condition for it's age.  No chips, cracks, repairs or stains.  You will find crazing and some light utensil marks.  The gilding on the edge of the rim may have some minor wear on each plate.  You will also find the typical "blue paint spattering" as is typical with blue & white and flow blue pottery.
    Maker mark on backside of plate in blue.  Dates this plate to approx. 1912.
    Measurements:  6-3/4" diameter
