  • Condition: Very good condition with no chips, cracks or stains, there is a kiln spur mark from where the holder was during the firing, a white dot down to the white pottery (see closeup of back of plate). Also some crazing, but not real noticeable and does not detract from the beauty of the plate.

    Product Description
    Entitled "A Duel on Putney Heath", this plate was made by Ridgway Pottery in the early 1900s as part of their line called "Coaching Day".  The burnished brown and black colors are accented by tiny white points and a center image of a coaching scene.  Marked with a MacMillan & Co. Mark on the back.  Very good condition with no chips, cracks or stains,
