Ridgway Pattern 2/925 Cobalt Peach & Gold Tea Cup & Saucer Circa 1815-1825
Nice porcelain tea cup and saucer. Decorated with gold gilt floral scrollwork on the outside of the cup. With a cobalt, peach, and gold pattern on the inside of the cup and on the saucer. Marked on the bottom 2/925. Circa 1815-1825. Plate 633, page 106, A Compendium of British Cups by Michael Berthoud.
Has some minor wear to the gilding and usage wear, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
The cup measures approximately 4 5/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/2 inches tall.
The saucer measures approximately 5 3/4 inches wide.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
