Antique Ridgway / Ridgway's Stoke on Trent, Persia pattern, made in England.
Beautiful Antique child size/
miniature tea set
from the 1880s, This is just great condition for the age it is, with only slight glaze crackling on plates and inside the cups - you'd have to look for it. No chips, breaks or repairs.
Beautiful transferware gold and rust red flowers scroll along each piece and inside the cups,
just like the "adult" version of the Persia pattern
. The pattern varies which makes it even more lovely - look at the plates. Cream base with wheat/golden colored handles.
The pieces are marked
Ridgways Stoke on Trent - Persia
and the number 26 with red hand painted numbers as well.
Just lovely.
This set includes 11 pieces plus a lid.

Sugar (or extra bowl whatever that is):  3 1/4" w x 2 7/8" high

Saucers: 3 1/2" diameter

From my mother's collection... please give this a new home! Will ship insured and
extra fragile
which is what the handling cost is for. Have to say, of all of my mother's many sets of children's dishes and mini tea sets, this is the most beautiful.
