Here is a group of 4 demitasse cups and saucers from the English pottery, Ridgways. The pattern is "Coaching Days & Coaching Ways,"  a series created on a warm amber brown transfer-ware pottery with black transfers produces 1890s-1920s. The series featured illustrations by Hugh Thomson & Herbert Railton, selected
from
the book “Coaching Days and Coaching Ways” by W. Outram Tristram (1888). Ridgways produced this pattern with permission of the publisher, Macmillan & Co.

All pieces are in good vintage condition - no chips or cracks; the transfers are clear; the silver trim seems unworn. There is crazing, common with this glaze. There is a small glaze skip under the edge of one saucer, and a tiny gap in the transfer on one cup (see photos). Both of these are artifacts of manufacture and not damages.
The cups measure 2-1/4" high x about 3" across including the handle. The saucers measure 4-1/4" across.
