    Description

    A vintage hand painted ceramic cup and saucer made by Ridgways in Bedford, England.  It dates from the 40s, possibly earlier.  It is a cream color with yellow rims and blue lines, as well as hanging plant designs.
    The saucer is approximately 5 3/4 inches across.
    The cup measures approximately 4 1/2 inches long (counting the handle), 3 5/8 inches wide, and 2 3/8 inches tall.
    This set is previously owned and quite old.  It has some crazing, a bit of discoloration due to age here and there, wear on the rim of the cup, a few marks on the back of the plate, and a bit of other minor wear.
    Will be packed carefully and insured.
